Irvine Baseball Tournament Starts Today

The We Play Hardball tournament begins today at UC Irvine.
The first-round games of the tournament, which is composed of 16 Orange County high school teams, will be played through Saturday. The second round begins July 27 with the championship game July 30.
All first-round games will be played at UC Irvine.
In today’s games, Woodbridge plays Irvine at 5 p.m. and Mater Dei plays Servite at 8 p.m.
On Friday, Foothill plays Orange at 5 p.m. and University plays Newport Harbor at 8 p.m.
On Saturday, Huntington Beach plays Estancia at 10 a.m., Corona del Mar plays Canyon at 1 p.m., El Toro plays Capistrano Valley at 4 p.m. and Tustin plays Laguna Hills at 7 p.m.
Tickets are $3 per day or $10 for a tournament pass.
