Venice Man, 67, Killed in Crash

A 67-year-old Venice resident was killed Saturday afternoon when his vehicle struck another on Kanan Road near Triunfo Canyon Road, said a California Highway Patrol spokesman.
The 12:30 p.m. accident occurred when the man, whose identity was not released, drove off the roadway then tried to drive back on, authorities said.
His car crossed the center divider and struck another driven by Gerald Henson, 27, of Thousand Oaks, who was admitted to Westlake Hospital with moderate injuries, authorities said.
The Venice man was ejected after his car overturned.
Two passengers in the vehicle, Jose Silva, 22, and Victor Bonilla, 31, both of Los Angeles, were taken to the same hospital with minor injuries.
