NATION : United Jet Crash Toll Reaches 111

SIOUX CITY, Iowa — The death toll in the crash landing of a United Airlines DC-10 reached 111 today with the death overnight of a Norristown, Pa., man injured in the crash.
Brent Bealer, 28, died at St. Luke’s Medical Center, where he was being treated for burns, fractures and head and internal injuries suffered when United Flight 232 crashed during an emergency landing Wednesday. The plane carried 296 people, of which 185 survived.
