A man and a 15-year-old boy were shot while standing in front of their Southeast San Diego house Monday night in what police called a drive-by shooting.
The boy was shot in the knee and Kenneth Beasley, 44, suffered a head wound after shots were fired at 7:45 p.m. from a passing vehicle in the 100 block of Brandywood Street, said Lt. Lee Staley of the San Diego Police Department.
Staley said two suspects were arrested late Monday in East San Diego. The victims reported shots being fired from a gray Nissan Sentra driven by a woman, with two men riding in the back seat, Staley said.
He said the case was “probably gang-related” and was being investigated by the department’s gang unit.
The victims were taken to Mercy Hospital, where they were listed in good condition Monday night.
