A 25-year-old San Bernardino man was arrested Thursday and booked on suspicion of murdering his former roommate in Orange, police said.
Mark Lancaster, 25, was arrested as he walked near an apartment complex on Date Street in San Bernardino. He had been sought in connection with the stabbing death of Robert Alexander Porter, according to Sgt. Art Ramo of the Orange Police Department.
Porter’s television, typewriter and compact disk player were recovered, although several items found missing from his apartment are still being sought, Ramo said.
Porter, 23, was an assistant fast food chain manager who was discovered dead in his bathtub last week after worried employees called police when he did not show up to work for several days.
