Striking Nurses Reject Pact

ANN ARBOR, Mich. — The Michigan Nurses Assn., which represents 1,700 registered nurses at University of Michigan hospitals who have been on strike since July 19, overwhelmingly rejected a contract proposal designed to end the walkout, the union said Thursday. No new negotiations were set.
