“The Golden Girls” happens to be my husband’s favorite show. However, the June 24th episode was a racial affront to the Filipina woman. We are not “bought.” As one of the many Filipinas married to Americans, I felt greatly insulted by the innuendo that Filipinas are so cheap, a person can buy not only one but four Filipina wives as spares.
