Dock Strike Near End

LONDON — Union leaders announced today they had voted to end a 3-week-old national dock strike in Britain and called on dockworkers to return to work. But longshoremen in Liverpool condemned the decision and vowed to stay on strike. Employers said only three major ports, Liverpool, Bristol and Middlesbrough, are still on strike.
