David Nicksay, a senior vice president with Paramount Pictures, has been named president and head of production of Morgan Creek Production, an independent film company. Nicksay will assume the duties of Joe Roth, who is leaving Morgan Creek to become chairman of 20th Century Fox Film Corp. Roth’s departure was announced two weeks ago.
