Anaheim : Alley Cleanup Program Scheduled for Sept. 15-22

Residents in the central part of Anaheim will have a chance to clear their houses and garages of unwanted junk during an alley cleanup program Sept. 15 to 22, the city announced.
Large items such as refrigerators--which must have their doors removed--will be picked up, and cleanup crews will cut back weeds, paint out graffiti, patch potholes and sweep alleys in the area bounded by Harbor Boulevard, East Street, La Palma Avenue and Lincoln Avenue.
Trash bins will be placed in area alleys on Sept. 15 and picked up when full.
To facilitate the cleanup effort, city officials said vehicles parked in the alleys during the program may be ticketed or towed.
