Vidcom Post Buys Land Near St. Augustine, Fla.

Vidcom Post, a Burbank-based video services company, said it bought property near St. Augustine, Fla. The property, valued at $600,000, is near film and videotape production studios, and could be used to develop an East Coast base for Vidcom’s post-production editing business, President Frank Celecia said.
Celecia said it is important for the company to establish a presence in Florida, where such studios as MCA and Walt Disney are boosting motion picture, commercial and television production.
Vidcom did not disclose the purchase price, but said it included stock in the company.
