Robert B. Wilhelm, managing director of San Francisco’s Westin St. Francis hotel for the past 14 years, announced that he will retire Aug. 31, after his 62nd birthday. Wilhelm, a 40-year veteran of Westin Hotels & Resorts, began his career with the company as a cashier at the Benjamin Franklin Hotel in Seattle and served in Oregon, California, Montana, Colorado and Washington before going to the St. Francis.
