Huntington Beach : Motorcyclist Killed in Collision With Truck

A motorcyclist was killed when he collided with a pickup truck late Wednesday night, Huntington Beach police said.
Daniel E. Richmond, 22, of Huntington Beach, was transported by helicopter to UCI Medical Center shortly after the accident, which occurred about 10:40 p.m. He was pronounced dead upon arrival.
Police said Richmond was southbound on Springdale Street and collided with a pickup heading west on Heil Avenue. The accident is under investigation.
Police did not say whether the motorcyclist was wearing a helmet.
