Weighing Estrogen Replacement, Cancer Risk
- Share via
As a husband of a woman who is going through menopause, I have noticed a tremendous positive difference in her moods when estrogen replacement was prescribed. She is able to concentrate better and her forgetfulness is minimized. Before her physician prescribed the estrogen, my wife had great difficulty sleeping and was exhausted from this sleep deprivation.
Because of what I have personally observed, I am under the impression that hormones must play a much greater role in the quality of women’s lives than we are being led to believe. If the hormones that are available today are potentially carcinogenic, then I would like to challenge drug companies to come up with a better product.
