Sheff Helps U.S. to Baseball Victory

Chris Sheff continued his impressive play Monday in the World Junior Baseball championships as the United States defeated Brazil, 8-1, in the third round in Trois Rivieres, Canada.
Sheff, who played at Laguna Hills High School and will attend Pepperdine in the fall, had two hits, two RBIs and stole two bases. He is seven for 12 in the tournament with seven runs scored.
The U.S. will play Mexico Wednesday.
