Culver City : Landlord-Alternate Picked
Mary Ellen Fernandez, owner of a Culver City duplex, has been named a landlord-alternate to the Culver City Landlord-Tenant Mediation Board.
Fernandez, 52, is a broker for Merrill Lynch in Culver City, an associate director with the Culver City Board of Realtors and a member of the Culver City Chamber of Commerce board of directors. A 32-year Culver City resident, she served on the Human Services and Park Commission for the last three years.
She will sit on mediation panels to hear disputes over rent increases when the three regular landlord representatives of the board are unavailable. Alternates’ terms are indefinite.
