Capital Solutions, a Palo Alto real estate investor, has sold the Moulton Plaza shopping center in Laguna Hills for $19 million to Alexander & Baldwin Inc., a Hawaii farming and transportation concern.
The 133,000-square-foot center--on Moulton Parkway between El Toro Road and Lake Forest Drive--is almost entirely leased. The major tenants include a Hughes Market, the Department of Motor Vehicles and Security Pacific Bank.
Alexander & Baldwin, a publicly traded Honolulu company, has interests in ocean transport, agriculture and real estate development and management.
The purchase is part of a $100-million acquisition program run by San Francisco’s AMB Investments Inc. for Alexander & Baldwin.
