Photographer Jailed in Belfast Freed on Bail, Told to Leave

BELFAST, Northern Ireland — West German free-lance photographer Nick Vogel, charged with possessing a rifle magazine under suspicious circumstances, was released on bail Friday and ordered to stay out of Northern Ireland.
Vogel, 22, was arrested in Belfast on Tuesday during nationalist riots marking the 20th anniversary of British troop deployment in Northern Ireland.
He was granted $1,560 bail in Belfast’s High Court on Friday and told not to return to Northern Ireland except for court appearances.
