An Anaheim man was booked on suspicion of murder and held without bail at the Anaheim city jail this morning in connection with the shooting death of his older brother, police said.
Glenn Alan Hobson, 27, was arrested Monday night after officers arrived at their home on West Tyler Avenue following reports of gunfire at 9:38 p.m. and found the older brother, Garland C. Hobson, 30, shot in the chest, said Anaheim police Sgt. B. Bradley.
The elder Hobson was taken to UC Irvine Medical Center, where he later died, police said.
Both brothers lived at the home, Bradley said. It was unknown what prompted the shooting.
