Pacific Palisades : Program Fights Graffiti
- Share via
In an attempt to halt a dramatic spread of graffiti in the downtown business community, the Pacific Palisades Chamber of Commerce has launched a new program to stop the vandalism.
Under the plan, business owners have been asked to provide exterior wall paint for their businesses and the chamber will provide a list of volunteers who will paint out any graffiti on the walls. Paint needed for street lights, garbage cans and other community property will be provided by the chamber.
Ann Pritchard, executive director of the chamber, said 17 people have volunteered for the program. She said several residents and businesses have agreed to donate money and discount paint for the program.
