NFL Exhibition Roundup : Giants Rally, Then Hold Off Jets, 21-17

George Adams scored the go-ahead touchdown from inches out on fourth down and rookie A.J. Greene returned an interception 65 yards for a touchdown to lead the New York Giants to a 21-17 victory over the New York Jets Saturday night at East Rutherford, N.J., in the annual exhibition game for bragging rights to the Big Apple.
Adams’ score gave the Giants (3-0) a 14-10 lead with 10:57 left.
Kyle Mackey got the Jets (1-2) close with a 36-yard touchdown pass to Harper with 1:54 left and drove them to the Giants’ 12-yard line before time ran out.
New England 23, Atlanta 7--Linebacker Andre Tippett recovered a fumble in the end zone for a touchdown and Greg Davis kicked three field goals as the Patriots trounced the Falcons at Atlanta.
The Patriots (2-1) converted two Atlanta fumbles, a pass interception and a poor punt into 16 first-half points.
The Falcons (0-3) scored when quarterback Chris Miller connected on a 64-yard touchdown pass play to Stacey Bailey.
Philadelphia 38, Pittsburgh 14--Randall Cunningham threw for two touchdowns and the Eagles beat the Steelers at Philadelphia.
Cunningham threw a 35-yard touchdown pass to Keith Byars to make it 24-14 with 1:15 left in the third quarter after giving the Eagles a 17-14 lead on a 12-yard scoring pass to Keith Jackson.
Bubby Brister connected on an 86-yard touchdown pass play to Eric Wilkerson to give the Steelers (1-2) a 14-10 lead.
Green Bay 27, Buffalo 24--Anthony Dilweg’s two-yard touchdown pass to Perry Kemp with 19 seconds left pushed the Packers past the Bills at Madison, Wis.
The Bills (1-3) took a 24-20 lead on Stan Gelbaugh’s seven-yard pass to Chris Burkett with 13:56 left after Keith Woodside’s three-yard scoring run gave the Packers (2-1) a 20-17 lead.
Indianapolis 30, Tampa Bay 0--Eric Dickerson, rested with a week’s layoff, ran 78 yards for a touchdown on the third play of the game and the Colts routed the Buccaneers at Indianapolis.
Dickerson rushed for 117 yards in the first half for the Colts (3-0).
Vinny Testaverde threw three interceptions for Tampa Bay (1-2).
Phoenix 21, Cleveland 7--Gary Hogeboom threw two touchdown passes and Freddie Joe Nunn returned a fumble 48 yards for another score as the Cardinals downed the Browns at Tempe, Ariz.
Hogeboom led Phoenix (1-2) to a 21-0 halftime lead. Cleveland (1-3) scored on Tony Baker’s six-yard touchdown run with 1:18 left.
Denver 24, Dallas 21--David Treadwell’s 19-yard field goal in overtime lifted the Broncos over the Cowboys at Denver.
Steve Walsh threw two second-half touchdown passes to give Dallas (2-1) a 21-14 lead, but the Broncos (2-1) tied it on John Elway’s 18-yard scoring pass to Mark Jackson with one second left.
