Finland Firm Buys Card Key Systems

HELSINKI, Finland — Waertsilae Security, Finland’s leading security company, has acquired Card Key Systems Inc. of Chatsworth, Calif., for $40 million, a company spokesman said today.
Card Key Systems is one of the leading American companies in the access control systems sector with a 10% share of the U.S. market. Card Key sales for 1988 were $50 million.
