In this season of marriages between networks and retail chains for promotional purposes, Showtime Networks has cut deals with the Great Atlantic & Pacific Tea Co. and Waldenbooks. Great Atlantic will promote Showtime’s upcoming two-part miniseries, “The Neon Empire,” in 950 supermarkets nationwide, while the Waldenbooks tie-in will promote the cable network’s new “Nightmare Classics” series.
