Higher Bid for Dunkin’ Donuts: A Canadian partnership raised its hostile bid for Dunkin’ Donuts Inc. to $308 million despite a lawsuit pending in Delaware Chancery Court, officials said. D D Acquisition Corp., a partnership of Kingsbridge Capital Group and Cara Operations Ltd., raised its price to $45 a share from $43, regardless of how the Delaware judge rules in the trial that begins Sept. 11 to decide if Dunkin’ Donuts was within its rights when it set up tough anti-takeover defenses. The offer expires Sept. 15.
