Pavilion Plaza, a community shopping center in Garden Grove, has been purchased by Bonutto-Hofer Investments of Newport Beach for $21.6 million.
The 265,000-square-foot center was sold by Watkins Commercial Properties of Tustin.
Built 28 years ago at the corner of Chapman Avenue and Brookhurst Street, the center had recently been renovated.
Bonutto-Hofer specializes in buying and managing shopping centers for investors.
The center is anchored by what the firm says was the prototype for the Pavilion’s supermarkets, run by Vons. Other tenants: Sav-On Drug Store, clothier T.J. Maxx and Music Plus.
