Timothy J. Wollaeger has been named to the positions of president and chief executive of Smith Laboratories, San Diego. Wollaeger replaces James B. Glavin, who continues as chairman. Wollaeger was also named to the positions of president and chief executive at Sutter Corp., Smith’s wholly owned operating subsidiary. He most recently was a general partner of Biovest Partners, where he helped found five San Diego-based medical companies.
