Datron Systems Unit Gets $6.7 Million in New Orders

Datron Systems said its Trans World Communications unit, which makes radio communications equipment for military and commercial markets, has received $6.7 million in new orders since June 30. The orders included significant purchases by the governments of Indonesia and Mauritania, Datron said.
Datron, based in Simi Valley, also makes satellite antenna systems and electronic simulator training products. Datron’s sales totaled $37 million in the year that ended March 31.
