Rohrabacher and Funding for the Arts
Intelligent Americans should be appalled at Rep. Dana Rohrabacher’s mental impediment regarding art. A politician willing to sever federal funding for the arts is slaughtering the very foundation of freedom.
Art is free expression, it takes on many forms and represents strength in its controversy, it is critical, it strikes emotion, it activates the mind to think and, most important, it challenges our true conviction in freedom.
If a crucifix in a bottle of urine, a fragment of representational art, can send Rohrabacher into a screaming retreat from freedom, maybe he should consider another profession where that would be considered an absolute sin.
I’m sure Jim and Tammy Bakker could use a man of his moral viewpoint.
