GREENWICH, Conn. — Ivan Lendl, the world’s top-ranked men’s tennis player, won at love this weekend as he married his longtime girlfriend, Samantha Frankel.
The two were married Friday in a private ceremony at Lendl’s home in Greenwich, a New York suburb, a spokesman for the Czech tennis player said today.
Frankel, 21, and the 29-year-old Lendl have been going together five years.
Their honeymoon was a brief one as the couple flew to Barcelona, Spain, for today’s start of a grand prix tennis tournament.
