Writer-Scholar Fuentes to Speak on Campus

Novelist and Latin American political scholar Carlos Fuentes will speak at the University Center Titan Hall on the Cal State Fullerton campus Oct. 3 at 8 p.m.
Fuentes, author of “The Old Gringo” and “Christopher Unborn,” will present an autobiographical discussion of his writings as part of the Distinguished Hispanic Lecture Series.
The series was organized to bring Latino scholars, artists and persons of accomplishment to the campus.
Fuentes was Mexico’s ambassador to France from 1975 to 1977, and he has taught at Cambridge, Princeton and Harvard universities.
