Community College Roundup : Fullerton Men Lose 2-0 in Soccer

The Fullerton men’s soccer team lost to San Diego Mesa, 2-0, Wednesday at Fullerton.
John Tuttle and Enrique Melcer scored in the first half for Mesa. Fullerton’s record dropped to 6-3-2.
In another nonconference soccer game:
Cuyamaca 3, Cypress 1--Cypress’ (1-5-1) lone goal was by Marius Maihele , who scored at the 34:00 mark. Cuyamaca’s record is 5-2.
In nonconference water polo:
USC JV 15, Cypress 11--Craig Garcia had three goals for host Cypress (8-3). Andy Hoover scored seven goals for the Trojans (9-1).
In nonconference women’s volleyball:
Long Beach 3, Cypress 0--Long Beach swept, 15-4, 15-10, 17-15, and Cypress’ record dropped to 3-2.
El Camino 3, Rancho Santiago 0--Visiting El Camino swept, 15-8, 15-7, 15-4.
