Ford Joins in With Incentives: Ford Motor Co. announced incentives for four of its 1990 models, joining General Motors Corp. and Chrysler Corp. in offering deals for the new model year. Ford’s incentives involve rebates ranging from $600 to $1,250, or financing with interest rates ranging from 6.9% to 10.9%, depending on the term of the loan. GM and Chrysler announced incentives earlier on some 1990 models. The model year officially began Sunday.
