KCBS-TV’s Erik Sorenson Gets Wake Up Call From CBS

Erik Sorenson, station manager and former news director at KCBS-TV Channel 2, on Friday was named executive producer of “CBS This Morning” and “CBS Morning News.”

David Corvo, who had been executive producer of CBS’ third-rated morning show for the past five years, was promoted to vice president of administration for CBS News.

Sorenson’s job at Channel 2 will not be filled, a spokeswoman said.
