Ferdinand Marcos Dies in Exile

The death of Ferdinand Marcos, and President Aquino’s refusal to allow his body to be sent home to the Philippines for burial, should be lauded by all right-thinking individuals. The bankrupt state of the Filipino economy, the excessively opulent life styles which the Marcos family lived in the midst of a poverty-stricken Filipino populace, along with the draconian way which the former president dealt with political opponents (Benigno Aquino, being a good example) are a few of the egregiously indelible imprints which Marcos, and his insatiably-exuberant wife, Imelda, left behind in the Philippines.
The simple fact that Mrs. Aquino has to make this decision goes to prove that what goes around comes around.
