Through October, the Los Angeles Department of Recreation and Parks is hosting supervised Halloween activities at more than 100 recreation centers throughout the city.
Haunted houses, carnivals, costume parades, parties and plays presented by recreation classes are some of the activities planned. All parks will be well-lit and fully staffed.
For information about specific programs and schedules, contact the nearest city recreation center. Neighborhood parks are listed in the telephone directory under City of Los Angeles Department of Recreation and Parks.
