Wendy’s International: The Dublin, Ohio, restaurant chain said third-quarter profit was essentially unchanged from last year, edging up to $8.71 million from $8.67 million. Revenue fell 2% to $269.2 million. The firm said there are 46 fewer company restaurants than last year, most of which were sold to franchise owners. Sales from company and franchise restaurants totaled $787 million, compared to $758 million a year ago.
