Boise Cascade Rejects Settlement With EPA

The Boise Cascade Corp. of Boise, Ida., said it has rejected an offer to settle charges brought against it by the Environmental Protection Agency for $950,000.
The EPA has charged that Boise Cascade violated the Clean Air Act while building an addition onto its International Falls, Minn., pulp and paper mill, according to a Securities and Exchange Commission filing.
