Pendleton Displays Memorial Replica

An exhibit honoring Vietnam veterans will be displayed at Camp Pendleton for one week beginning Friday.
The memorial, referred to as “The Moving Wall,” is a half-scale replica of the Vietnam Veterans Memorial in Washington.
An opening ceremony will be held at 10 a.m. Friday at the 11 Area parade field at Camp Pendleton. It will be on exhibit from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. through Nov. 9.
The exhibit coincides with the observance of Veterans Day, Nov. 11, and the Marine Corps’ 214th birthday, Nov. 10.
