2 Kill Selves, 1 Seized After Police Chase

HARRISBURG, Ore. — A Wyoming man was in custody Sunday after two companions shot themselves in a suicide pact when the stolen car they were in crashed during a police chase.
Oregon State Police said that Victor Milewski, 18, of Mountain View, Wyo., told them after his arrest Saturday that he and his companions had vowed to kill themselves if faced with capture but that he changed his mind.
The car, reported stolen in Utah, was chased by three patrol cars for 70 miles at up to 100 m.p.h. on Interstate 5.
