K.C. Officials Go After Braniff for Airport Fees

KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Kansas City officials will seek federal court help in recovering $1.6 million from Braniff Inc. for delinquent lease payments on gates at Kansas City International Airport, Assistant City Atty. Nordahl Holte said today.
The city will file a motion next week in U.S. Bankruptcy Court requesting that Braniff pay its current expenses, Holte said.
