Choice for Burundi Envoy

WASHINGTON — President Bush has announced that he will nominate Cynthia S. Perry, the ambassador to Sierra Leone in west Africa, to be ambassador to Burundi in east Africa. If confirmed by the Senate, she would succeed James Daniel Phillips.
