Plane Lands on N.Y. Beach

NEW YORK — A pilot flying a single-engine plane made a safe emergency landing Friday on the sands of Brooklyn’s Brighton Beach, authorities said. Police said the pilot and a passenger, both firefighters, reported that they were on a leisure flight.
