Riverside Defeats Fullerton, Stays Unbeaten

FULLERTON — Riverside College running back Daryl McChristian rushed for 173 yards in 29 carries, including a 43-yard touchdown run in the fourth quarter, to give the Tigers a 21-9 victory over Fullerton in a Mission Conference Central Division game at Fullerton District Stadium Saturday.
Riverside, 9-0 overall, 8-0 in Mission Conference games and 4-0 in the Central Division, clinched at least a tie for the Central Division championship with the victory. Fullerton dropped to 5-4, 4-4, 2-2.
Fullerton quarterback David Chisum completed 21 of 32 pass attempts for for 243 yards, one interception and a 10-yard scoring pass to tight end Rob Coons in the fourth quarter.
