WORLD : Entire Pakistan Cabinet Resigns

ISLAMABAD, Pakistan — The Pakistani Cabinet resigned en masse today to give Prime Minister Benazir Bhutto a free hand to form a new government.
Bhutto narrowly survived an opposition no-confidence motion in Parliament last week. She later said she wanted to broaden the base of the government by offering Cabinet seats to moderate opposition deputies.
