West Virginia will play in the Gator Bowl in Jacksonville, Fla., Dec. 30, with Clemson as the Mountaineers’ probable opponent, the Times-West Virginian of Fairmont, West VA., reported.
Officially, bowl bids cannot be extended until Nov. 25.
