LAGUNA NIGUEL : Inaugural Festivities for Leaders Planned

Residents of Laguna Niguel, the county’s newest city, will be able to meet their new leaders during an all-day inaugural celebration Dec. 1.
The five-member City Council, elected Nov. 7, will be sworn into office during a 10 a.m. ceremony at Crown Valley Community Park, 28931 Crown Valley Parkway. The public is invited.
Council members-elect Patricia Bates, James Krenbas, Paul Christianson, Tom Wilson and Larry Porter will be hosts at a formal dinner at Design Center South, 23811 Aliso Creek Road.
Tickets for the dinner, which will include a champagne toast and dancing, cost $15. They can be purchased at the Community Services District, 27821 La Paz Road; the Laguna Niguel Chamber of Commerce, 30110 Crown Valley Parkway; Taylor Woodrow Sales Office, 24448 Marina Hills Drive; and Monarch Bank, 30000 Town Center Drive.
