La Mirada Prepares for Holiday Basket

LA MIRADA — The city’s Human Services Department will coordinate the Holiday Basket program again this year, working with social service agencies, churches, clubs, organizations, businesses, PTAs and individuals to utilize all donations. La Mirada residents in need of holiday food can qualify for the program. Requests may be made in person through Dec. 8 at the Kling Center; two pieces of identification are required.
Donors may contact the Human Services Department at 943-0131, Ext. 230. The Kling Center and the Human Services Department are at 12900 Bluefield Ave.
