Dun & Bradstreet to Buy Software Company: Credit services giant Dun & Bradstreet Corp., New York, said it signed a definitive agreement to buy Management Science America Inc. for $333 million in cash. Dun & Bradstreet said one of its units would make a cash tender offer promptly for all of Management Science’s 18 million shares outstanding for $18.50 a share. Management Science stock jumped $6 to $18.125. The company makes computer software for business applications.
