David Dworkin has been named chairman and chief executive of the British Home Stores Group unit of London-based Storehouse PLC. Dworkin, 45, had been president and chief executive of Bonwit Teller, which was part of the Chapter 11 bankruptcy filing by its parent, L. J. Hooker Corp. A spokesman for Hooker said Bonwit will be managed by the company’s executive committee, which reports to Sanford C. Sigoloff, chief executive.
