Bulldozers Used to Evict Dutch Squatters

AMSTERDAM — Police used bulldozers to break down burning barricades and smashed through the roof of a stately home Monday to evict the last band of squatters occupying premises in central Amsterdam.
No arrests were made and the 300 squatters, many wearing helmets and shouting revolutionary slogans, later staged a march through the city center.
